Das Festival Junger Tanz stellt sich neu auf – größer, schöner, klarer: statt kompakt an einem Wochenende im Gasteig präsentiert Iwanson International seine Werkschau des Zeitgenössischen Tanzes über mehrere Spielorte und Monate verteilt. Die einzelnen Sektionen sind deutlich voneinander abgesetzt, denn jede einzelne brauchte einfach mehr Raum! Außerdem haben so mehr Zuschauer:innen eine Chance, die Entwicklung des Zeitgenössischen Tanz in München zu genießen. Dieses erweiterte Profil wurde bereits im Dezember 2021 sichtbar, mit dem Pre-Festival sozusagen. Da gaben die Professionals im Nimble Project eine edle Visitenkarte ab!

Das Festival Junger Tanz 2022 teilt sich auf gemäß den Iwanson International Ausbildungslinien. Wir freuen uns auf die Youngsters, die Dancers und die Dance Pedagogues. Aktuelle, internationale Choreographien werden interpretiert von jungen Künstler:innen. Immer live, manches auch zusätzlich gestreamt. Immer mit dem wachen Blick nach vorn, manchmal auch über die Schulter gelugt, woher man kam. Immer bereit, alles zu geben, manchmal auch im Risiko. Life is for the brave.
Die Vorstellung des Festivals Part 1 am 24. April 2022 werden zusätzlich zum Live-Publikum als Live-Stream statt finden.

Mit Dynamik und Frische geben Iwanson-Student:innen in insgesamt sechs Vorstellungen einen Einblick in die Vielfalt ihrer Ausbildung. Am Iwanson lehren nur Profis, und das sieht man.
Bei der Open Campus Jazz Edition tanzen alle Ausbildungsjahrgänge in Arbeiten von Antonia Čop, Dolores Dujak und Stefanie Erb.

Die zeitgenössischen Choreographien für Open Campus 1-5 sind von Guido Badalamenti, David Cahier, Pia Fossdal, Minka-Marie Heiß und Marta Rak. Auf der Bühne Student:innen der ersten beiden Ausbildungsjahrgänge.

The Festival Junger Tanz broadens its focus – bigger, better, clearer: instead of a compact weekend in the cultural centre Gasteig, Iwanson International distributes its showcase of Contemporary Dance over several venues and months.
The different parts have each their own characteristc and simply needed more space.
Furthermore, more spectators have a chance to enjoy an overview over the development of Contemporary Dance in Munich. A first glimpse of this enlarged profile was already possible last December when the professionals left their mark with the Nimble Project showing joy, commitment and skills! The Festival Junger Tanz 2022 is divided according to Iwanson International’s education lines. We proudly present the Youngsters, the Dancers and the Dance Pedagogues. State of the Art international choreographers created works for young artists. Always live, some will be also streamed. Always looking ahead, but sometimes also looking over the shoulder to see where one came from. Always ready to give everything, sometimes also risking everything. Life is for the brave.
The performance of the festival Part 1 on 24. April 2022 will take place in addition to the live audience as a live stream.

In the Open Campus Jazz Edition, students of all grades dance in the pieces by Antonia Čop, Dolores Dujak and Stefanie Erb.

The new choreographed works for Open Campus 1-5 are by Guido Badalamenti, David Cahier, Pia Fossdal, Minka-Marie Heiß and Marta Rak, and are interpreted by students of the first two years.
